For how many years have you been working out and why?

"I've been working out for almost 6 years, Istarted lifting because I was very small and weak, didn't feel confident at all. I started lifting and as soon as i saw the results, it became an addiction to me, I asked for help by a personal trainer who gave me training and nutrition advice. I was getting better results and i fell in love with this lifestyle."

Which kind of workout do you practice?

"I do HIT (high intensity trainings) my trainings are not longer then 60-90 minuts. I prefer lower weights, better form with high repetitions."

What’s your favorite workout and why?

"Leg workouts are the one's i love the most, because legs are also my favourite body part. It's all because of the details you can create in your legs."

What’s the worst workout and why?

"Worst workout for me is shoulders, because i always had bad pain in my shoulders, i learned how to train them with proper form, but i'm still scared to go heavy in weight on them, because of the risks to injure them."

Which body part are you proud of the most and why?

"I'm most proud of my back, because i had scoliosus (it means that your back spine is in an S shape) i managed to get it better by doing proper form on my exercises. Ofcourse you can't get it perfect back to a straight line, but you can get it definitely better by training with proper form."

Which body part are you not satisfied with and why?

"I'm not satisfied with my calve muscles, because i do focus on them, but for some reason they don't wanne grow, also alot of times when training them, my feet hurt really bad, even if i go extremely low in weight, calves is also a genetic thing, not an excuse to skip training them, i will keep training them and use other ways of training."

Have you ever competed and what position did you get? Would you do it (again)?

"Yes, i did compete in a junior bodybuilding class in december 2016. My shape could be better, but for a first time it wasn't that bad. There where only 4 other competitors in my class so it was a hard battle to place good. to bad for me, the others had a better shape or posing routine then me. Sometimes your lucky, sometimes you have bad luck and end up with very good competitors in your class and you end on the last place (5th). It motivated me more to train harder and i will do it better another time!"

How did it feel like on stage?

"I can't describe the feeling you get from standing on stage... It's just amazing! If you're scared to try competing or you think you're not good enough, don't think! Just do it! Compete and be proud of what you achieved! It's an amazing experience and you will only get better and better from doing it."

Are you getting any help with your workout or dietplans?

"I do get help with my training and nutrition, its really important if you want to achieve something. My coach is: Bill Richardson, he is an ex Mr Universe, Mr World and Mr Europe. in the 1970-1980 years. He is 70 years old and is still everyday helping others in his gym with training and nutrition, posing. He is also an ifbb belgium judge. "

What kind of diet plan are you on and for how many weeks?

"Currently i'm on a bulking diet, to be exact a lean bulk, if you ever think about dirty bulking, i can tell you it's a very bad idea. You only put on more fat, so more work in your cutting.. I want to weigh 110kg and i'm currently at 105kg, so i'm not doing it by follow an amount of weeks, i just follow it until i reached this weight goal."

Are you taking any supplements?

"I do take supplements: Protein powder (6 different types of protein), also bcaa's, creatine, and multi vitamins. in my cutting when i do fasted cardio in the morning i take a fatburner and some coffee 😄."

Do you have any favorite products? Workout clothes, shakers, protein bars or so? Why and where do you buy them?

"My favourite nutrition brands of supplements are: Nutritech, QNT, Olimp sport nutrition. Favourite brand of clothing is: Ryderwear, they have amazing shoes and tank tops! Also gold's gym clothing as almost every bodybuilder has haha."

Where do you work out and why?

"I train at 2 gyms: High tech gym, because its only 5 minuts from my home and its an old school type of gym. my second gym is in antwerp city, i need to take the train 1,5 hour ride to get there, so i can only go every saturday or sunday. The reason i go there is because it's the gym of my coach. The gym name is: B&C gym in borgerhout - antwerpen."

When are you satisfied? Or will you ever be?

"I will never be satisfied haha, the more results i see, the harder i work, and the more i want! It's the best motivation you can have!"

How much does your workout mean for you and why?

"My workouts mean everything to me, it's the only thing i really look forward to, every single day (6-7 times a week) i see every single workout as a new chance to get better."

"Currently at 192cm tall, weight is 105kg. Offseason i aim for 105-110 kg and in cutting i go to 90-95kg. (contest weight of december was 91,3kg)."

How much time do you use on fitness?

"All of my time is spent on this lifestyle, you have to go to the store, mealprep, make your meals to take with you to work, you need to go to the gym, practise you posings, and you need to rest enough."

Do you have an idol - if yes; who?

"My idol's are: Jay Cutler and Kai Greene. Reason for that is because of the story of these guys, if you watch Jay Cutler's comeback story to the 2009 olympia stage on youtube you will know what I mean. And for Kai Greene it's just mad respect! This man is so dedicated to this lifestyle, his shape is amazing and he acts like a normal person, he doesn't feel better then you or me. Also his mental talks on youtube or instagram are amazing to listen to."

Of all the things you have accomplished, during your 'fitness life' - what are you proud of the most?

"I'm most proud of standing on stage and competing, even though i placed last, the whole competition prep and hard times, where all worth it! The road (prep) to the competition is also a challenge, and i won that challenge, i didn't gave up and i achieved a good shape. Next time i will do better and grab those throphy's with me!"
